The High Performance Team

The Singapore Diving High Performance Programme is helmed by 3 National Coaches and managed by a Manager.

Shannon ROY – National Diving Head Coach

Shannon oversees the National Open & Age Group squads, and coordinates all the National Training Programmes at Singapore Diving.

WAN Jun – National Diving Coach

WAN Jun was an ex-national chinese diver and spent 2 years as a national coach with the Mexican national diving team. He hailed from Jiangxi, China.

Wan Jun oversees the National Age Group & Development Squads.

TANG Ji – National Development Coach

TANG Ji was a state diver with the Sichuan Province. She has 8 years of coaching experience with the Sichuan provincial team before moving to Singapore.

TANG Ji coaches the National TID training programme and club competitive teams.

Damien LER – Diving Manager

Damien LER has managed Singapore Diving since its inception in 2009. Other than High Performance and National Team Manager duties, Damien is also in charge of the High Participation programmes and spearheaded the creation of diving programmes at Aerotumblers (Queenstown) in 2011 and APS Swim School (Farrer Park) in 2012.

Savvy in social media and marketing, Damien has established a comprehensive social media platform to raise the profile of Singapore Diving.

Damien is a FINA diving judge and has judged at various international diving competitions. He recently became Singapore’s first ever World Championships Judge at Barcelona 2013.
